Psychoanalysis is a more in-depth form of psychotherapy. Therapist and client seek to discover deeper meanings in daily strife while unlocking paths to joy and inner tranquility.

This is a process, which, in many ways, becomes a partnership between the therapist and client. Psychoanalysis seeks to facilitate inner change and greater overall understanding, both of oneself and the world in general. Over

time, the client learns to embrace life and him/herself more fully and to let go of behaviors and feelings which are self-destructive. Awareness and insight move beyond the mundane of daily living. Inner peace and serenity replace old conflicts and stressors.

Often this form of treatment requires no less than two sessions per week.
